My brother (not black) went there for just a fade and they denied him service. They humiliated him but putting a comb through his hair taking him to the middle of the room and saying to everyone he just bent my comb because it’s so tangly. He probably doesn’t comb, wash, and put to much product in his hair. My brother was told to go home wash and brush his hair and come back so he can cut it. We drove an hour to come to this place. This is so disappointing. They wouldn’t just put a comb through a black persons hair and tell them to go home because it too tangly. DONT COME HERE IF YOU ARE NOT BLACK

Had a recent haircut with Jacqline C. and she did a fantastic job. I recently moved out here from Texas, and I had some rough experiences with the cookie cutter shops so I decided to try out Platinum. The ambiance is laid back lounge-y, the owner seemed friendly, and booking online was easy. Jacqline was thankfully meticulous about her craft and was able to get me the mid-top fade I was so previously accustomed to. She was also super friendly and passed along some great food recs. It’s knowingly a bit more pricey than regular shops, but you definitely get what you pay for with the folks here.
