BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A man from Columbia, Maryland, scored big yet again in the Maryland lottery. Officials say he won his fourth prize of at least $50,000 last week.
Kenneth Weinberg is semi-retired, according to lottery officials, and they say he buys scratch-off tickets just about every day.
Last week, Weinberg scanned his $50,000 Cash instant ticket, and it told him to go to the lottery office, he told lottery officials.

“I’ve been doing well these last few weeks with $50,000 Cash,” he said in a news release. “When I stopped by the Royal Farms in Elkridge, that’s what I played.”
Lottery officials say he didn’t scratch his $20 instant ticket right away. “I’ve been having an issue with my eyesight, so I rely on the scanner. It’s easier to read.”
Weinberg told lottery officials plans to use his prize to fund home remodeling projects.

In the weeks since the game went on sale, the $50,000 Cash scratch-off has risen to the sixth spot on the Lottery’s Top 40 Scratch-offs list. Most $20 scratch-off games list a handful of top prizes while this game debuted with 160. Kenneth’s $50,000 score leaves 129 top prizes remaining and 143 unclaimed second-tier $5,000 prizes.
