𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗻: 𝗔 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 Fearlessly trying new things is essential in both our personal and professional lives. It opens doors to continuous learning and growth. This past weekend, I had an experience that reminded me of the importance of stepping out of our comfort zones and exploring new opportunities. While at the NC State Farmers Market in Raleigh, I stumbled upon an incredible smell - curry leaves. I'd never cooked with curry leaves before, let alone made a curry, but I knew I wanted to try something new. Last night, I ventured to Whole Foods, gathered some likely ingredients, and began my culinary experiment. As the cook, you often feel you could have done better, but this time, I was thrilled with the result. In the process of creating and sharing this recipe, I tried several new things and leveraged various tools to make the experience even better: 1. I used Mela (https://mela.app) to capture my recipe in a neat, organized way. 2. Exported the recipe from Mela into multiple formats to ensure it could be used in various applications. 3. I asked ChatGPT to render the recipe as a website using the HTML export from Mela. 4. Copied and pasted the result into Notion and edited for readability. 5. Published the recipe as a site, using Notion's new "publish" feature to make it immediately available for sharing. 6. Used ChatGPT to augment and improve my LinkedIn post for clarity and engagement. This culinary adventure reminded me that continuous learning in the workplace can open new doors and drive innovation. Just as I explored new flavors and tools to create and share my recipe, embracing new skills and technologies at work can lead to fresh opportunities, improved processes, and personal growth. Finn was incredibly responsive, providing specific and clear instructions on what actions to take.
